ASPIRE-2 Project

The ASPIRE-2 project aims to understand different attitudes and behaviors related to using different cigar products and their flavors. We are interested in how smoking these cigar products affects your smoking, how you feel, and attitudes about different types of cigar products.

You may be eligible if you smoke little cigar products, are between the ages of 18 and 34, have no immediate plans to quit using tobacco, and have had prior experience with flavored tobacco products.

Project ONSET

Volunteers Needed for a study related to Semaglutide and tobacco use among adults.

If you are:

  • 18-65 years old
  • In good health, with no history of diabetes, GI-Related condition, or current mental or physical health hospitalization
  • Regularly use cigarettes
  • Consider yourself overweight or obese
  • WIlling to answer some questions about your behavior and attend 13 brief weekly in-person visits at our Oklahoma City campus clinic

You may be eligible for a study where you will receive either free semaglutide once per week or placebo. Eligible individuals will be compensated up to $618 for study participation.
